A Few Highlights: Cory was a Scout for the Chicago Bulls, coached at Stanford University, Head Coach for the Calgary 88’s, and Head Coach for Calgary Dino’s men’s team for 5 years. Cory has also been involved in over 740 wins as a Head Coach or Assistant Coach. He has 38 years of coaching experience.
Cory Russell has coached at every level of basketball including elementary, Junior High and Senior High, University and Professional Teams. He has worked with and coached both males and females, has been an NBA scout, and was identified as one of the best recruiters in the U.S. during his time as a Division 1 coach

What are the kinds of things a team consultant does?
On an International Level, Cory currently works with two NCAA Division 1 teams in the U.S. (one female team and one male team) and his duties range from helping install an offensive system to evaluating subbing patterns.
So far this season, Cory has consulted with 6 local high school teams, three of whom played in the championship games of the Higher Hoops Tournament.

- Develop an independent, objective evaluation of your players’ strengths (and weaknesses)
- Prepare a thorough scouting report on a future opponent
- Evaluate film for use with your team
- Work individually with your players
- Provide a report that analyzes your practice philosophy and/or game management
