TUTORING

Participants in the tutoring component of Cory Russell Coaching work on the fundamentals of the game in either a one-on-one or small-group setting . Every student will work on dribbling, regardless of position. Emphasis is placed on proper shooting mechanics as well as shot situations – catch-and-shoot and dribble and pull-up. Post play is covered with all students, though more time is spent on it with post players. Other offensive fundamentals such as catching the ball, reading the defense and making good decisions are worked on. Defensive situations and specific skills for those situations are explained and drilled. In addition, there is a big emphasis on having the proper mental approach to playing.

Three tutoring options are available:

8 individual (1 on 1) sessions at a set (regular) time each week - $575 (GST is included)
8 individual (1 on 1) sessions during the quarter, at a time to be determined each week - $640 (GST is included)
8 group sessions (2-4 participants) at a set (regular) time each week (assuming partner(s) can be found) - $350 per person, (GST is included)

Fees are to be paid in full prior to the beginning of a quarter, either with one payment or two post-dated checks. Times are not considered reserved until monies are received.

Sessions take place at Foothills Academy – 745 37th St. NW, and will be held on:

Tuesdays – 6-9pm
Thursdays – 6-9pm
Saturdays – noon-3pm. Makeup sessions – 3-6pm
Sundays – 9am-6pm

All session are personally directed by Cory.
